What is the difference between a prepaid job and one booked directly through Taskrabbit?
Customers (Clients) can purchase IKEA Furniture Assembly services through IKEA at a participating IKEA Store or online at IKEA.com. These jobs are "prepaid" and the Customer’s point of contact is IKEA, given they are the merchant of record. Customers can also book jobs directly through Taskrabbit. With these jobs, the customer’s primary point of contact is Taskrabbit and their Customer Support teams.
Does the Customer need to create a Taskrabbit Account?
If the customer does not have an existing Taskrabbit account, one will automatically be created for them based on the contact information provided at the time of purchase.
The customer will be required to sign into their Taskrabbit account and set up a password in order to communicate with their Tasker and review the Assembly Job details.
How does a Customer communicate with their Tasker?
Once a customer has successfully created their password and signed into their Taskrabbit account, they will have access to our "chat feature." They will want to check the app or website to stay up to date on Tasker communication.
The chat feature is where the customer can communicate with their Tasker either through messaging or through an in-app phone call. It is highly recommended at the customer download the Taskrabbit app.
Will the Customer have a credit card on file with Taskrabbit?
Taskrabbit will not have access or visibility to the customer’s credit card information for any Prepaid Tasks.
If the customer chooses to tip the Tasker, they will be prompted to add a credit card to their Taskrabbit account to do so, after the job has been completed and invoiced.
When will the Customer need to contact Taskrabbit Customer Support?
Prepaid customers primary point of contact for the IKEA Assembly Task will be the IKEA Co-worker team. You will handle all scheduling changes, cancellations, removing or adding items to the original order.
If the customer has any questions about: Tasker communication, quality of work, damages, etc. They can be directed to the Taskrabbit Customer support team. You can also contact Taskrabbit on their behalf.
How do I contact Taskrabbit Customer Support?
If you need to contact Taskrabbit customer support, you will submit a contact form through the IKEA Coworker Support Center.
It is important to fill out the appropriate contact form, depending on the contact reason: General Questions, Claims, or Emergencies.
